Roots of Israel hatred

Unearthing the astonishing biblical and historical roots of anti-Semitism and Israel hatred

Excerpts from article by Joseph Farah, Whistleblower Magazine, September 2014:16-27. Summarizing the extensive background and causes behind today’s worldwide anti-Semitism.

Ultimately, it’s not really about the Jews or Israel anyway. It’s about their God.

It’s not so much Israel or the Jews that bother the left. It’s what the Jews stand for as the children of promise. The left is not just waging a war on Jews and Israel. It, too, is waging a war on God—specifically the God of the Bible.

3,000 Years Ago: Roots of Hatred in ancient History

childrenofisrael-cloudFor, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

How did these enemies of God strike at Him? They targeted Israel.

They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. ~ Psalm 83

Notice the motivation for this confederation against Israel. It’s not Israel that enflames the passions for destruction. It is enmity with God Himself. If they could destroy Israel and blot out its name from history, they reasoned, they could defeat the will of God.

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

So the real target of the rebellion was not the Jews. It was God.

Today

Fast-Forward 3,000 years and not much has changed.

The spiritual descendants of the Ishmaelites, Amalekites, Midianites and the Philistines are still at war with Israel. But if Psalm 83 still holds true, Israel is not the ultimate target. It’s the very notion that Jehovah rules and reigns over His creation and holds the universe together with His will and His laws.

In other words, there is nothing Israel can do to placate these enemies short of allowing themselves to be destroyed.

In the larger sense, there is nothing Jews around the world can do to quench the rising tide of a new anti-Semitism short of succumbing to the kind of “final solution” Adolf Hitler envisioned for them.

Because, ultimately, it’s not really about the Jews or Israel anyway. It’s about their God.

The Left’s Israel Problem

So what is it that causes so many “progressives” today to sound more like Hitler in their denunciations of Israel and “Zionism”?

I think the answer is the same as it is for the Islamists.

obama-hates-israelIt’s not so much Israel or the Jews that bother the left. It’s what the Jews stand for as the children of promise. The left is not just waging a war on Jews and Israel. It, too, is waging a war on God—specifically the God of the Bible.

Israel also represents the people who were summoned by God to live in the land, delivered out of Egypt to that very real estate, and who brought the Bible to the rest of the world.

truth2momentWhat is the truth of the matter?

The truth, oddly enough, is that anti-Zionism equals anti-Semitism, a virulent form of hatred of an entire people—almost synonymous with racism. And, in even more specifically, what I call “Palestinianism: equals anti-Semitism.

First, though, we need to define Zionism. It was, and is, a political movement for the re-establishment and support of a national homeland for the Jews in what was, at the time, called Palestine. Throughout the 20th century, when the movement caught steam, and when the nation of Israel was reformed, most of the people living in the region were Jews.

70 A.D. Origin of Palestine

israelmapThe truth is that Palestine is no more real than Never-Never Land. The first time the name was used was in 70 A.D. when the Romans committed genocide against the Jews, smashed the Temple and declared the land of Israel would be no more.

From then on, the Romans promised, it would be known as Palestine. The name was derived from the Philistines, a Goliathian people conquered by the Jews centuries earlier. It was a way for the Romans to add insult to injury.

They also tried to change the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina, but that had even less staying power.

Arab Leaders Demand Ethnic and Religious Cleansing

This is one of the great untold stories of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

anti-israel-plaPalestinian Authority and Hamas: [terrorist organizations]: “Palestine state must be 100% free of Jews”

“We’re not asking them to change their religion. They have full civic rights. now in the Palestinian state, the way it’s being contemplated, no Jew can live there. It has to be Jew-free, ethnic cleansing. Well, what is that ? there are Arabs who live here, but they can’t contemplate Jews living there.”~Netanyahu

There’s one thing almost all civilized people can agree on: “Ethnic cleansing” is bad. Ethnic cleansing is defined as a policy of eliminating unwanted ethnic or religious groups by deportation, forcible displacement, mass murder or by threats of such acts, with the intent of creating a territory inhabited by people of a homogeneous or pure ethnicity, religion, culture and history.

Nevertheless, even with this broad consensus opposing ethnic cleansing, there’s one place in the world nearly everyone supports it.

It’s in the lands known as Judea and Samaria on the West Bank of the Jordan River under the administration of the Palestinian Authority, and in Gaza under the rule of Hamas. There—and only there—does the entire international community favor the complete elimination of all Jewish residents by deportation and forcible displacement, if not by mass murder or threats of such acts.

That’s because the Palestinian Authority insists the “Palestinian state” it seeks to create be 100 percent Judenrein, as Hitler would say—free of Jews. And that’s Ok with all those supporting the concept of creating a new state based on ethnic cleansing and bigotry that would make Himmler blush.

Did you know this is a prerequisite for a Palestinian state?

Very few do—other than Israelis. In fact, in the new autonomous communities Israel ahs helped West Bank Palestinians establish, Jews are not welcome—even though they supply the electricity, much of the food, water and other vital necessities of life.

It is simply never discussed in the media.

israelmourns2It is the only place in the world where it is perfectly acceptable to insist on the eradication of residents of a particular religious or ethnic background.

In any other part of the world, this kind of racist, anti-Semitic effort at ethnically cleansing a region would be roundly condemned by all civilized people. Yet, because most people simply don’t understand the clear, official plan by the Arab leaders to force out all Jews from the new Palestinian state, those leaders retain a degree of sympathy, even political support, from much of the world.

Why is that acceptable?

I’ve been asking this question for a decade. Thankfully, Netanyahu has made the point it must be repeated over and over and over again until the whole world recognizes the diabolical Nazi-like plan afoot within the Palestinian Authority.

You simply can’t begin to understand the Middle East conflict in the natural world. It’s a spiritual war involving principalities and powers unseen in the natural world.

Bethlehem was in Israel. Mary and Joseph were devout Jews. Jesus is recognized by Christians as the Jewish Messiah—that’s what “Christ” means. In other words, Jesus was not born in “Palestine.” He was born in Israel, just as the prophet Micah foretold. (Micah 5:2)

Jesus will be returning someday. And where will he return? Not to Palestine, but to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.

It’s from Jerusalem that Jesus, a Jew, will rule and reign over the entire world for a thousand years, according to Revelation 20:4.

School Indoctrination

propaganda-anti-jew⇐Anti-Jewish Propaganda

Thus it is that the anti-Semitic plague in this region is beyond the point of pandemic. It’s viral among the people of the imaginary land of Palestine. It’s taught in the schools along with reading, writing and arithmetic. It’s infused in their popular music. It infects all of their newspapers and Internet sites.

For decades, the Arab leadership, inside the territories and outside, has been fostering anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hatred and a victimization mentality in its schools, its media and its popular culture. They indoctrinate the population, from the earliest age, to embrace jihad and martyrdom as the only acceptable path.

The Epic Lie

“Palestianianism” is an ideology based on the myth that Arabs were massively chased from their homes by Jews once Israel became a nation. It’s not only a myth, it’s an epic lie.

Arabs aren’t fleeing Israel. They’re breaking in. there is more freedom for Arabs in Israel than in any other Arab land in the world. What you see, instead, is tunnels being used to terrorize Jews in Israel. Do you see any Israeli Arabs digging tunnels to get out or to wreak havoc on their neighbors? No way.

truth-vs-liesBut it is this lie that forms the basis for the fantasy of a Palestinian state—a lie the entire world has accepted.

Today, of course, this cruel charade continues. The suffering of millions of Arabs is perpetuated only for political purposes by the Arab states. The “Palestinians” are simply pawns in the endless Arab-Muslim war to destroy Israel.

Principalities and Powers

How is it possible that such monumental lies have been sold to so many people around the world?

This is what happens when a nation rejects God

bible1The left is not just waging a war on Jews and Israel. It, too, is waging a war on God—specifically the God of the Bible.

Israel also represents the people who were summoned by God to live in the land, delivered out of Egypt to that very real estate, and who brought the Bible to the rest of the world.

It couldn’t happen without the spiritual blindness of people who reject the God of the Bible for another, or who reject Him for a god in their own image.

And once they do that, anything is possible—including the murder and genocide of the people who stand as a living reminder of His promises.
