Culture Wars:

Peace Corps Multiculturalism Failure vs. Judeo-Christian Ethics, Biblical Values,  Moral Compass

This is extremely eye-opening. Documented by a firsthand witness. Left wing radicals berate and disparage our Biblical values. They are lying. They don’t know what they are talking about. Anyone who can read this and still want open borders and socialism, without God and His moral absolutes, then there is something wrong. Such people are in denial of the truth and need to repent. ~C.D.

What I Learned in the Peace Corps in Africa:  Trump Is Right!

By Karin McQuillan  January 17, 2018

Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town.  Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health.  That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, “a fecalized environment”

In plain English: s— is everywhere.  People defecate on the open ground, and the feces is blown with the dust  onto you, your clothes, your food, the water.  He warned us the first day of training: do not even touch water.  Human feces carries parasites that bore through your skin and cause organ failure.

I will not ignore the Truth

moment of truthNever in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that a few decades later, liberals would be pushing the lie that Western civilization is no better than a third-world country.  Or would teach two generations of our kids that loving your own culture and wanting to preserve it are racism.

Last time I was in Paris, I saw a beautiful African woman in a grand boubou have her child defecate on the sidewalk next to Notre Dame Cathedral.  The French police officer, ten steps from her, turned his head not to see.

I have seen.  I am not turning my head and pretending unpleasant things are not true.

Senegal was not a hellhole.  Very poor people can lead happy, meaningful lives in their own cultures’ terms.  But they are not our terms.  The excrement is the least of it.  Our basic ideas of human relations, right and wrong, are incompatible.

absolute truthAs a twenty-one-year-old starting out in the Peace Corps, I loved Senegal.  In fact, I was euphoric.  I quickly made friends and had an adopted family.  I relished the feeling of the brotherhood of man.  People were open, willing to share their lives and, after they knew you, their innermost thoughts.

The longer I lived there, the more I understood: it became blindingly obvious that the Senegalese are not the same as us.  The truths we hold to be self-evident are not evident to the Senegalese.  How could they be?  Their reality is totally different.  You can’t understand anything in Senegal using American terms.

Cultural Family Differences

Take something as basic as family.  Family was a few hundred people, extending out to second and third cousins.  All the men in one generation were called “father.”  Senegalese are Muslim, with up to four wives.

Female Genital Mutilation

Muslim doctor who does fgm

Girls had their clitorises cut off at puberty.  (I witnessed this, at what I thought was going to be a nice coming-of-age ceremony, like a bat mitzvah or confirmation.)

Sex, I was told, did not include kissing.  Love and friendship in marriage were Western ideas.  Fidelity was not a thing.  Married women would have sex for a few cents to have cash for the market.

What I did witness every day was that women were worked half to death.  Wives raised the food and fed their own children, did the heavy labor of walking miles to gather wood for the fire, drew water from the well or public faucet, pounded grain with heavy hand-held pestles, lived in their own huts, and had conjugal visits from their husbands on a rotating basis with their co-wives.  Their husbands lazed in the shade of the trees.

Family was crucial to people there in a way Americans cannot comprehend.

Ten Commandments Unknown

The Ten Commandments were not disobeyed as they were unknown.  The value system was the exact opposite.  You were supposed to steal everything you can to give to your own relatives.  There are some Westernized Africans who try to rebel against the system.  They fail.

We hear a lot about the kleptocratic elites of Africa.  The kleptocracy extends through the whole society.  My town had a medical clinic donated by international agencies.

The medicine was stolen by the medical workers and sold to the local store.  If you were sick and didn’t have money, drop dead.  That was normal.

So here in the States, when we discovered that my 98-year-old father’s Muslim health aide from Nigeria had stolen his clothes and wasn’t bathing him, I wasn’t surprised.  It was familiar.

Total Corruption

In Senegal, corruption ruled, from top to bottom.  Go to the post office, and the clerk would name an outrageous price for a stamp.  After paying the bribe, you still didn’t know it if it would be mailed or thrown out.  That was normal.

One of my most vivid memories was from the clinic.  One day, as the wait grew hotter in the 110-degree heat, an old woman two feet from the medical aides  who were chatting in the shade of a mango tree instead of working  collapsed to the ground.  They turned their heads so as not to see her and kept talking.  She lay there in the dirt.  Callousness to the sick was normal.

Other Cultures do not have a Moral Compass  like in our Judeo-Christian Culture

Americans think it is a universal human instinct to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  It’s not.  It seems natural to us because we live in a Bible-based Judeo-Christian culture

No Work Ethic, No Private Enterprise, Just Kleptocracy

We think the Protestant work ethic is universal.  It’s not.  My town was full of young men doing nothing.  They were waiting for a government job.  There was no private enterprise.  Private business was not illegal, just impossible, given the nightmare of a third-world bureaucratic kleptocracy.  It is also incompatible with Senegalese insistence on taking care of relatives.

Socialism

gospel of envyAll the little stores in Senegal were owned by Mauritanians.  If a Senegalese wanted to run a little store, he’d go to another country.  The reason?  Your friends and relatives would ask you for stuff for free, and you would have to say yes.  End of your business.  You are not allowed to be a selfish individual and say no to relatives.  The result: Everyone has nothing.

The more I worked there and visited government officials doing absolutely nothing, the

socialism destitution

Venezuela desolated by socialism

more I realized that no one in Senegal had the idea that a job means work  A job is something given to you by a relative.  It provides the place where you steal everything to give back to your family.

I couldn’t wait to get home.  So why would I want to bring Africa here?  Non-Westerners do not magically become American by arriving on our shores with a visa.

For the rest of my life, I enjoyed the greatest gift of the Peace Corps: I love and treasure America more than ever.  I take seriously my responsibility to defend our culture and our country and pass on the American heritage to the next generation.

African problems are made worse by our aid efforts  Senegal is full of smart, capable people.  They will eventually solve their own country’s problems.  They will do it on their terms, not ours.  The solution is not to bring Africans here.

We are lectured by Democrats that we must privilege third-world immigration by the hundred million with chain migration.

Trump protect bordersThey tell us we must end America as a white , Western, Judeo-Christian, capitalist nation  to prove we are not racist.  I don’t need to prove a thing.  Leftists want open borders because they resent whites, resent Western achievements, and hate America.  They want to destroy America as we know it.

As President Trump asked, why would we do that?

We have the right to choose what kind of country to live in.  I was happy to donate a year of my life as a young woman to help the poor Senegalese  I am not willing to donate my country.

Planned Parenthood Abortion, Margaret Sanger Facts, and What to Do About It

Decent people everywhere are sickened by this development in the New York abortion law, legalizing infanticide. The truth is, we are politically weak. Our sacred way of life will not be redeemed in the capitols of the world, but within the walls of our own homes.  The good news is that you can start now to find peace for your family in this challenging world. Planned Parenthood and the African-American Community

By

Dr. Jerry Newcombe

Does Planned Parenthood target blacks? That is what Dr. Martin Luther King’s niece thinks.

Dr. Alveda King told me:

Trending: New Child Discipline Guidelines Reject Biblical Teaching

“The leading cause of death in the African-American community is not gang-violence, gun violence, heart attack, stroke, HIV, high blood pressure, diabetes. People will name all these. No, it’s abortion. And the reason we have come to that conclusion, statistically, you’ve got 60 million plus abortions legal in America since 1973. About a third of those occur in the African-American community. That means dead babies. And, with us being 13 percent or less of America’s population, that means we are having more abortions.”

In 1921, Margaret Sanger founded the Birth Control League, which later changed its name to Planned Parenthood. Dr. Paul Kengor, author of Takedown, writes about when Sanger spoke to the Ku Klux Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey in May 1926:

“The Planned Parenthood founder’s KKK talk was a smash hit. Not only did it go very late, after a very long wait, but she received numerous invitations to speak to other groups like the Klan. Why would the KKK be so interested in Ms. Sanger? The reasons are obvious, a natural fit. It was because Sanger was a passionate racial eugenicist with grandiose dreams of ‘race improvement.’”

Alveda King told our listeners:

Abortion. Pelosi and Margaret Sanger

“Margaret Sanger, the founder of the Birth Control League [later, Planned Parenthood], said, that ‘colored people are like weeds,’ and they need to be eliminated. They need to be exterminated. We don’t want the word to get out, so let’s not package it that way. So that’s why they began to make a lot of propaganda and marketing materials, saying that abortion is a woman’s right. It will help her to finish college, get a job, do this or do that.”

Christian author and educator Dr. George Grant points out that it was not just the African-American community Sanger targeted for population control:

“Now for Margaret Sanger and her followers, those undesirable aspects of humanity were largely ethnic minorities: blacks, Jews, oftentimes Slavic peoples from Eastern Europe. These were considered undesirables, ‘imbeciles’ she called them, ‘human weeds’ she called them; and so Planned Parenthood was originally designed to limit the populations of those peoples and to increase the population of what she felt were the desirable races. So right at the heart of the philosophy of Planned Parenthood is this ideological and scientific commitment to a kind of racism.”

Sanger did not want it known that she believed blacks should be targeted for a significant reduction in their population. She wrote, “We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” (Margaret Sanger, Letter to Dr. Clarence J. Gamble, December 10, 1939.)

New York celebrates child sacrifice with passage of extreme abortion law

https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/new-york-celebrates-child-sacrifice-with-passage-of-extreme-abortion-law

Are we now numb to outrages like the celebratory pink light shined on what is ironically called the “Freedom Tower, which by Gov. Cuomo’s order is now a monument devoted to celebration of death rather than a tribute to the innocent dead killed during the 9/11 attack?

The World Trade Center memorial was intended to be a powerful symbol of American resilience and unity following one of the most terrible acts of violence against innocent people.

The memorial below the new World Trade Center building even bears an inscription remembering 11 unborn children who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.

By turning it pink to celebrate aborting a baby up until birth, Cuomo has turned it into a symbol of injustice and oppression of our country’s most vulnerable.

“But if it gives any comfort “Abortion clinics continue to close faster than they are opening.  Fewer abortions take place every year. Abortion as a business is in decline, and the New York law will not change that.” Cheryl Sullenger

I often hear the refrain from pro-cannibalists “How does my abortion affect you?  It is none of your business what I do with my body.”  Accept it does affect me when I swallow little Suzie’s DNA in a soft drink.

Judeo-Christian Ethics

“The law of Nature requires animals to kill other animals for food. In the law of the Bible, on the other hand, God tells us not to kill or eat other people. Why not?”

“It’s wrong!” The students exclaimed indignantly in vigorous unison.

“How do you know it’s wrong?”

Jacob waited.

“Well,” Preston began slowly. “There simply is no justice in murder and cannibalism. I don’t know why . . . Somehow I just know that.”

“Men often create laws to try to change God’s commandments,” Jacob continued, “but God’s laws never change. When He created our eternal souls, He planted those unchangeable moral laws in our minds and hearts. It’s called—”

“Our conscience.” Preston nodded. “Of course! I see that now.”

Infanticide and Death Panels Meaning

Obama Previews Death Panels: Take the Painkiller

Rush Limbaugh

I’m telling you: The left is doing as much as it can to erase all of these differences that define American exceptionalism. We are the only nation on earth where, in our founding documents, the right to life is considered a right and specified. The right to liberty, the pursuit of happiness… There’s no other country that has ever codified these things in government documents. We all take it for granted because we grew up with it and it’s not been any big deal. It’s been the way things are.

But those are the kinds of things that define American exceptionalism, not that we’re better people, and not that we’re smarter. That has nothing to do with American exceptionalism. But let’s go back. This is 2009. So what is this, 10 years ago now? It’d actually be 9-1/2 years ago. June of 2009, the famous ABC special, prime time “Questions for the President: Prescription for America.” A member of the audience, Jane Sturm, stood up and asked, “My mother is now over 105. But at 100, the doctors said to her, ‘I can’t do anything more unless you have a pacemaker.’ I said, ‘Go for it.’

“[My mother] said, ‘Go for it.’ But the specialist said, ‘No, she’s too old.’ But when the other specialist saw her and saw her joy of life,” how full of life she is, “he said, ‘I’m going for it.’ That was over five years ago, Mr. President. My mother’s 105 and happily alive. My question to you is, outside the medical criteria for prolonging life for somebody who is elderly, is there any consideration that can be given for a certain spirit, a certain joy of living, a quality of life, or is it just a medical cutoff at a certain age?”

Now, stop and think what we’re hearing here. A citizen at the White House is asking the president essentially, “Under your plan, can my mother continue to live and experience the joy of life? She’s full of life. Under your plan, would my mother get the pacemaker?” This is what the president of the United States told that woman 9-1/2 years ago…

OBAMA: I don’t think that we can make judgments based on people’s spirit. That would be a pretty subjective decision to be making. I think we have to have rules that say that we are going to provide good, quality care for all people. End-of-life care is one of the most difficult sets of decisions that we’re going to have to make. But understand that those decisions are already being made in one way or another. If they’re not being made under Medicare and Medicaid, they’re being made by private insurers. At least we can let doctors know and your mom know that, you know what, maybe this isn’t going to help. Maybe you’re better off not having the surgery but taking the painkiller.

So there you heard the leader of the free world, your desire to live, not a factor. We can’t use that. You’re full of life? Sorry. Irrelevant. You love being alive? Sorry. Can’t factor that in. Why? ‘Cause we don’t have the money. Somebody needs to tell Cortez and the rest of these clowns we don’t have the money. This is what Obamacare was gonna cost. This is why everybody started talking about death panels.

I want to ask you to think about something. We’ve all been around babies. And many of us have pets. Pick ’em up as puppies. You can’t miss, in a child, you cannot miss, in a newborn anything, the absolute thrill and love of being alive. You see it on their faces. You hear it in the laughs in terms of little babies. They just love being alive. It’s the natural state until age and maturity and life take over, start messing around with people’s psychology.

But in that period where you have raw, unbridled essence of innocence, you’ve got nothing but pure, sheer joy and happiness. Baby after baby after baby.

The fix for this is gonna be a while. ‘Cause it’s taken us a while to get here. This is gonna require a reestablishment of moral boundaries and foundations and a number of other values that the left has systematically sought to obliterate, erase, and wipe out over the course of many decades.

What Can We Do About It?

Our sacred way of life will not be redeemed in the capitols of the world, but within the walls of our own homes. The truth is, we are politically weak.  The good news is that you can start now to find peace for your family in this challenging world. Here’s how. ~C.A. Davidson
