Trump’s Proposed Rollback of Transgender Policy Is Good News for Many Who Are Suffering

Commentary By

Walt Heyer

Thank you, Mr. President, for moving to make male and female great again.

In the last few years, biological girls have seen their rights violated in school bathrooms and in sports. National confusion has ensued ever since the previous administration decided to reinterpret Title IX’s sex anti-discrimination clause to include self-proclaimed “gender identity.”

That may soon come to an end under the Trump administration.

The memo spells out the proposed definition of “sex” as applied to federal statutes as “a person’s status as male or female based on immutable biological traits identifiable by or before birth.” The proposed definition won’t include a “select a gender” option, as was offered under the Obama administration.

>>> A Former Transgender Person’s Take on Obama’s Bathroom Directive

This is simply a return to reality. Sex is an immutable biological reality, while gender identity is a social construct that can change over time. The two terms are not interchangeable. The authors of Title IX meant biological sex, not gender identity.

When individuals try to live out life in an ideology that has no basis in biological fact, the consequences are stark.

I know, because I lived the trans life for eight years.

The Alarming Findings of a New Study on Transgender Teens and Suicide

Kelsey Harkness

Daily Signal

One in every two transgender adolescents who are born female but identify as male has attempted suicide in the past year, according to a new study.

The study, “Transgender Adolescent Suicide Behavior,” was published in Pediatrics, the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

By comparison, they found that 14 percent of all teenagers had attempted suicide at least once.

Culture Wars: States, Constitution vs. Obama Bathroom Directive

States, Constitution vs. Obama Bathroom Directive

Eleven States Sue Obama: Transgender Demands are Unconstitutional

Eleven states—led by Texas—filed a federal lawsuit today, arguing that the Obama administration’s redefining “sex” to include gender identity—and threatening to sue and strip funding from states and schools that refuse to go along—violates both federal law and the U.S. Constitution.

GayPolitical-minoritiesIn public letters, agency documents, and a federal lawsuit filed earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Department of Education declare that any school that does not allow boys and girls to use whichever bathroom, locker room, and shower facility they claim to “identify” with thereby violates Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and can be stripped of all federal funding.

In other words, if a 17-year-old boy says that he now identifies as a girl — and wants to use his high school girls’ shower at the same time that a 15-year-old girl is showering in that same shower room — and the school does not allow the boy to share the shower with the girl, then the federal government can strip that high school of federal funding.

gay-gestapoMore broadly than that, the Obama administration says that any employer who does not treat an employee as a member of whatever sex the employee claims to identify with — including calling the employee “he” or “she” in accordance with the employee’s gender identity — that employer is engaging in sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

  • STATE OF UTAH; and

hypocrisyThe plaintiffs also highlight what they regard as liberal hypocrisy on this issue. In paragraph 24, the complaint quotes a 1975 Washington Post editorial from Ruth Bader Ginsburg—who at the time was a law professor at Columbia Law School—where Ginsburg asserted, “Separate places to disrobe, sleep, [and] perform personal bodily functions are permitted, [and] in some cases required, by regard for individual privacy.”

Culture Wars, Obama Bathroom directive, and Public School Indoctrination

Culture Wars, Obama Bathroom directive, and Public School Indoctrination

Joseph Farah

Why I’m thankful for Obama’s bathroom edict
I’m thankful because I believe this action will awaken millions of American parents to rethink their decision to place their children in public schools.

schoolindoctrinationOver decades, most public schools in this nation have become:

  • Political indoctrination centers;
  • Laboratories for social experimentation using children as guinea pigs;
  • Places where children are “socialized” by government employees instead of being educated;
  • Failure factories in every sense of the term;
  • Home for more and more professional child predators;
  • Institutions where children are taught “macro-evolution” and man-made, catastrophic climate change, among other spurious theories, as established facts;
  • Buildings devoid of moral absolutes;
  • “Gun-free zones” that, logically, turn them into shooting galleries and centers of mass killings;
  • Institutions almost devoid of any useful teaching about the Constitution, civics, representative government, limited government and the proper role of government.

I could go on and on.

Nevertheless, about 90 percent of parents in America dutifully and ignorantly continue to send their children to these schools.

homeschoolI’m betting that this edict from Obama may prove to be the last straw for many parents, who will awaken to the nightmare public schooling has become in America and pull their children out in favor of private education or, better yet, homeschooling.

I could be wrong. I have been wrong before.

Heck, I was wrong when I sent my oldest children to public school many years ago thinking, as most parents do, that their local schools are exceptional.

Somehow, I hold on to the hope that this tyrannical action by Obama, which is already proving immensely unpopular among people with common sense, will be a game-changer, a bridge too far, resulting in a mass exodus of millions of children whose humanity and decency and innocence is valued too highly by their parents to allow this insanity to continue.

Without the children of discerning parents, there’s no doubt public schools will become even worse – sewers, hell-holes, that even less-discerning parents will be able to see with their less-discerning eyes.

That will create an even bigger exodus, until, finally, the only children who will be left are sexually confused, the poorest of the poor, the illegal aliens and those who are unfortunate enough to be the offspring of low-information “progressive” parents.

I feel sorry for them – all of them.

But we cannot lose another generation to an institution that has outlived its usefulness and corrupted its original purpose.

PC-Truth“When I said in Orlando that ‘… the first man who goes in the restroom with my daughter will not have to worry about surgery,’ the LGBT community once again came after me, claiming that I was calling for violence against ‪#‎transgender people.”

Sign the petition demanding an end to the madness! No men in girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms or showers! Just say no!

Boykin said “that is simply not the case and I have never called for violence against anyone.”

He explained he was “referring to perverts who will use these policies to get into locker rooms with girls and women, and I object to that.”

truth-orwell-quote“My statement was meant to be humor and not a call for violence, which everyone in my audience understood as humor,” he said.

But the LGBT community has no sense of humor. ~C.D.

Family advocate: Impeach Obama over bathrooms

I just signed a petition to keep men out of women’s bathrooms. This issue became even more important when President Obama mandated that public schools in every state open up girls bathrooms and locker rooms to boys.

Petitions are going to be delivered to state governors. Go here to sign:
